Off-site Facilities
At all times our Clerks of Works have a full back-up from the Company. As part of this technical
support, all Clerks of Works have access to technical information including current British
Standards, Specifications, Technical Memoranda and Product Information. In the event that
individuals are unable to access this information from site, then the relevant details can be
accessed and forwarded from Head Office.
Holiday and Sickness Cover
Our service provides for cover to the works in the event of holidays, injury and sickness leave.
The cover is shaped to suit our clients needs and thus varies from contract to contract.
Insurance
Professional Indemnity Insurance cover is £5 million
Employers Liability Insurance is £10 million
Public Liability Insurance is £10 million

We are an approved Clerk of Works Consultant under the category of Project Management.

Extent and Comprehensiveness of Service
We will tailor our service to meet the requirements and needs of 'the Client'. Our past experience tells us that the
success or failure of any project is dependent upon 'the Team' acting in unison to achieve the desired goal. We,
for our part, fully accept the duties and responsibilities in being a full team member with total commitment to
quality and workmanship.
Control and Reporting Procedures
The Company operates Quality Assurance Procedures in accordance with ISO 9001:2008. Our systems are
audited and certified by SGS UK Limited with whom we originally achieved full accreditation with on 29th June
1999. As part of these procedures, we have a set of standard report forms for use by our Clerks of Works.
Wherever possible reports are compiled and distributed electronically to the Client Team together with progress
photographs where appropriate, in order to ensure that our Clients are kept well informed and up to date with
progress and issues as they arise.
. Health, Safety and Employment Legislation
In order to comply with the legislative requirements relating to employment law, personnel, health and safety
matters, we will provide our Clerk of Works with safety boots, reflective weatherproof coats and safety helmets.
We have engaged the services of Curran & Webb, Health & Safety Service of Evesham, Worcestershire. It is our
legal obligation to appoint a 'Competent Person' to assist with the management of health and safety. Curran &
Webb act on our behalf in this role and, in addition, keep us updated with all relevant legislation regarding health,
safety and employment law.
Flexibility of Organisation in responding to contract needs
We are able to respond effectively to most situations and have, on occasions, been known to attend pre-contract
meetings the same day notice has been received. Likewise, in an emergency, we have seconded a Clerk of
Works to site the same day. We have the added advantage that the Directors have, at some stage in their career,
been site based Clerks of Works and are, therefore, very familiar with the duties and responsibilities and can fill
any gap in an emergency. In addition, we are able to offer 'off-site' inspections, without reducing or affecting the
Site Control Team. These inspections can be carried out by our Directors.
