Extent and Comprehensiveness of ServiceWe will tailor our service to meet the requirements and needs of 'the Client'. Our past experience tells us that the success or failure of any project is dependent upon 'the Team' acting in unison to achieve the desired goal. We, for our part, fully accept the duties and responsibilities in being a full team member with total commitment to quality and workmanship.Control and Reporting ProceduresWe have in place comprehensive Reporting and Quality Assurance Procedures. We are actively working towards achieving full accreditation under ISO 9002. These written procedures have been completed and are in operation on many of our projects. In association with these procedures, we have self-duplicating standard report forms.Health, Safety and Employment LegislationIn order to comply with the legislative requirements relating to employment law, personnel, health and safety matters, we will provide our Clerk of Works with safety boots, reflective weatherproof coats and safety helmets. Each Clerk of Works will be issued with a Telephone Pager for ease of contact by the Client Team.It is our legal obligation to appoint a 'Competent Person' or Organisation to assist with the management of Health and Safety ; L.P.M.S. of Shipley act on our behalf in this respect. Flexibility of OrganisationWe are able to respond effectively to most situations and have, on occasions, been known to attend pre-contract meetings the same day notice has been received. Likewise, in an emergency, we have seconded a Clerk of Works to site the same day.We have the added advantage that the Directors have, at some stage in their career, been site based Clerks of Works. As a result, they are very familiar with the duties and responsibilities and can fill any gap in an emergency. In addition, we are able to offer 'off-site' inspections, without reducing or affecting the Site Control Team. These inspections can be carried out by our Directors. Off-site FacilitiesAt all times our Clerks of Works have full backup from our Company. As part of this technical support, we maintain a Barbour Index in our office detailing all current British Standards, specifications, technical memoranda and product information. We are able to reproduce this information in a printed form for use by our Clerks of Works on site. This facility is updated once per quarter.Holiday and Sickness CoverOur service provides for cover to the works in the event of holidays, injury and sickness leave.
